Selecting the Best Municipal Solid Waste Management Techniques in Nigeria Using Multi Criteria Decision Making Techniques

While developed countries use a variety of methods to convert municipal solid waste into various products such as energy, fertilizer, heat, and others, developing continue struggle with waste. Because the criteria be considered, assessing these determining which ones are best suited conditions each country is complicated task. The hybrid GREY-EDAS model was utilized in this study evaluate treatment alternatives Nigeria. employed seven distinct relating environment, society, cost, cost criterion being most relevant. Subsequently, four were evaluated: incineration, composting, sanitary landfills, anerobic digestion. As result, composting proven effective. Sensitivity analysis carried out by varying weight scenarios, produced consistent findings.
